I don't know if many of you remember those popular teen movies from the 80ies "16 Candles" "The Breakfast Club" or "Weird Science" ... The Geek in each of these movies was played by Anthony Michael Hall. And then in the 90ies we had the GEEK MUST SEE movie "Pirates of the Silicon Valley" where the über Geek - Bill Gates was also played by AHM... Now we can watch him in The Dead Zone (and guess what Johnny Smith was doing before his accident - he was a Science teacher )
This man has such great talent in acting, directing but also with his music. He is the proof that the word Geek has not bad meaning. To me, he is the one Geek I would always fall for... I like him in all these 3 periods shown in the photos
Latest news say that he is going to appear in new Batman movie, I wonder is that character that he is going to play, going to be any Geekish?

Nathan Fillion - a huge gadget geek!

On Nathan Fillion's myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/nathanfillion) he states that "If it's got batteries and a button, chances are I want it or got it already. Green laser, electric skateboard, switchless automatic pepper grinder. I have no limits to the toys." Not to mention he was on the geekiest cult show - Firefly and the movie Serenity.

Cool cat David Krumholtz plays the part of mathematical genius Charlie Eppes on CBS' NUMB3RS. Eppes works as a professor of mathematics at a California technical university and helps his FBI agent brother Don Epps (played by Rob Morrow) solve crimes using math. His left-brained talents give him the ability to de-construct any complex or practical situation into a mathematical model. He uses this model to offer insight to the FBI about certain crimes. Multiplying 4 number digits at the age of three, attending Princeton at thirteen, and studying at Stanford and MIT makes this mathematician a perfect geek of the week! Geek Of The Week: Milo Ventimiglia of Heroes

It can be argued that every character on NBC's hit Heroes, is prime Geek of the Week material, mostly due to the fact that they are all ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities...the life story of most geeks. But dreamer Milo Ventimiglia, who tries to convince his politician brother that he can fly, is in a league of his own. Of course, my judgment might be clouded by the fact that he's so beautiful.

According to one of his fan sites, Milo attended El Modena High School in California and was Associated Student Body president, which is geeky enough for me.

Geek of the Week: David Duchovny

When it comes to geeky men, David Duchovny still takes the cake for me. Despite the fact that the X-Files has been off the air for nearly 10 years, it's still alive in syndication and the memory of geeks everywhere. Duchovny, who seems to keep busy with indie film projects and directing episodes of shows like Bones, will reportedly be the lead in an upcoming comedy show on cable. You know I'll be there - like a moth to a flame baby.

I actually read that another X-Files movie could be made sooner rather than later, which has me all flustered and excited. No geek pleases more than agent Fox Mulder. Can One Laker Fan's Support Make a Difference?

Two Saturdays ago, I broke my arm snowboarding. At that point in time, the ER doc gave me a temporary fiberglass splint and told me to go to the orthopaedic surgeon in a week after the swelling went down to get a real cast. On Monday, I got my real cast.

These days, they can do casts in many different color. I'd planned to get a black one because black matches everything, and it's a bit more sophisticated than a plain white one. Well, sophisticated for a cast, anyway.

As the nurse began prepping the materials for my cast, we talked about the Lakers, who had just made their dismal five-game losing streak into a six-game losing streak the night before. I am quite concerned for my Lakers and decided that I had to do whatever it took to show my support.

Here's what my new cast looks like:
